Meet Meredith Stephens, VP of Business Development at MPS! When she’s not coordinating the camera department or strategizing ways to help us grow, this magician is rocking out to Stevie Ray Vaughan, riding horses, or playing with her pups Lucy & Cisco.

1. How did you get your start with MPS and how long have you been with the company?
I’ve known the MPS team my entire career. I always loved the warm hospitality and expertise of calling on Mark, Brad, and Gill when I was with production companies and other rental houses. Nearly 12 years ago, I officially became part of the MPS family, and it’s been an amazing ride!

2. When you’re not at MPS, where can we find you? i.e. How do you recharge?
Decompressing with my husband, friends, and family. I love being outside – riding horses, playing with my pups, riding bikes, swimming, listening to live music at outdoor venues.

3. What’s your favorite piece of equipment to work with?
The studios are always thrilling to see – witnessing a blank canvas turn into an impressive set, watching crew work, seeing equipment built and in action. I also enjoy watching the MPS Post team work – their talents mesmerize me!

4. If we were to hop onto your music playlist, what would we see you were listening to most recently?
Everything from funk and jazz to classical music to indie rock to country. Stevie Ray Vaughan and Stevie Wonder always hit the spot. I’m really into Kacey Musgraves and Brandy Clark right now, and I get a kick out of discovering new indie artists. Blues and jazz? Yes, please!

5. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Making people’s dreams come true. Like a fairy godmother!
