Meet The MPS Crew : Ean Parsons
At MPS, we pride ourselves on hiring great people who not only make everyday productive but also enjoyable. To give you a chance to meet the crew, we are kicking off a new article series where we introduce you to a member of our team and share a little bit of behind-the-scenes info on who they are. Up first is Ean Parsons from our Dallas Camera Department. World, meet Ean!
- How did you get your start with MPS and how long have you been with the company?
I actually worked for MPS from 1997 until 2000. Then I entered the freelance AC world, what a magical time! Now I’m back at MPS and couldn’t be happier,
- When you’re not helping AC’s/clients with camera preps, where can we find you? How do you recharge?
When I’m not at MPS you can find me spending time with my lovely wife, Holly. We try to check out lots of movies or local concerts and the occasional gallery opening. I also play guitar (poorly I might add), ride my bike(s) all over DFW and beyond and much to the chagrin of my boss Joe Lummus, I buy lots of LPs (aka records).
- What’s your favorite piece of (camera) equipment to work with?
My favorite piece of gear has to be the Mini; what a fantastic camera system. It’s also the most popular camera we have, and for good reason. This camera covers tons of ground. If I were putting a shoot together this would be my go-to camera every time!
- If we were to hop onto your music playlist, what would we see you were listening to most recently?
My music playlist is all over the place. Old country, classic rock, post rock, jazz, dub reggae, all kinds of stuff.
- If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?
I’m gonna have to go with flying; that would be amazing.
Ean looks forward to helping you with all of your camera needs (and getting his next LP fix, too, of course). If you have any questions about gear for your next project, give us a call at 214-630-1655 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org!
