| MPS Studios Back Again to Support the Dallas International Film Festival |

For the fourth consecutive year, MPS Studios announces the MPS Studios Texas Filmmaker Award given at the Dallas International Film Festival (March 31 – April 10). The juried competition contains features and documentaries shot in or relating to the Lone Star state, and provides $20,000 in cash, goods, and services to the winner. “We've serviced clients worldwide for over 30 years. Texas is our home, and we are dedicated to preserving the history and ensuring the future of the Texas production industry,” said Mark Beasley, president of MPS Studios. “We are proud to partner with DIFF again this year, to recognize and thank those who keep Texas filmmaking strong.” Previous recipients of the MPS Studios Texas Filmmaker Award are: The Dallas International Film Festival, named again in 2010 as one of the “25 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee,” by MovieMaker Magazine, is currently accepting submissions for the 2011 Festival.
